I just bought one caliper few days ago off ebay. I am trying to find another one on the net. After some research , I realized that the caliper that I bought is not from Z32 . I looks like it is from an R32. Can someone tell me exactly what it is ?

Well dude...I'm not sure what caliper that is...It might be a Skyline Caliper. These are pics of the Z32 TT calipers I just got not too long ago. I stole them for 275 for the pair, and they're brand new!

Is it alum or cast iron ? noticed that mine doesn't have those FIN like things around the calipers ( maybe for cooling purpose ?!). I just have to make sure what model did I get in order to find another half of it.

$275 a pair <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> awsome deal man !

Try emailing Jeff or Yury at www.heavythrottle.com &nbsp;I know a while back, they were selling a set of R32 calipers, so they may know the visible clues. &nbsp;

As for similarity, there is some, but not enough, IIRC. &nbsp;Different rotors and rebuild kits - which means that you will have a #### of a time with these, compared to z32 calipers. &nbsp;Plus the pads are different. &nbsp;This means every maintenance experience will require JDM parts :o

My advice would be to double check - but if you have an R32 caliper, I would re-sell it where you found it and get some from a z32. &nbsp;I think in the long run, it will be a better solution.

I don't think it is cast iron, I weight it and it's only 6 or 7 or 8 pounds ( my scale sucks ). I thought the cast iron calipers weight over 10 pounds each. I got it off ebay for $75, good deal huh ? but now I have to spend over $300 to find another one of it.
