Where's the "never owned one because they were all either blown or already swapped out" option?

I'm drunk.
Seriously though, I have my 98 kouki with only 59k miles on it. I like the KA, the torque is nice, but its getting ripped out this summer. Im ready for SR. Im keeping the KA though. Not sure what I want to do with it, but i'll probably end up building it and throwing it into an S13. |

but my car was single cam, so i went SR. swap wont be done until tomorrow, so we'll see if the $4k was worth it. |

ka? whats that? I only miss it cuz of the zero problems from the cali smog nazis and the option of buying 87 instead of 91 all the damn time.
With gas prices on the rise i pay 50-60 just to fill up, and it only lasts me little under a week. |

Haha I like how "I'm drunk" is in 2nd place.
And how are you able to make a poll? I know that can't be a premie thing because I've non-premies be able to do it. I don't see the option anywhere. |

Anyone else have an issue with Nissan transmissions? My KA trans didnt take much of a beating at all, and now grinds second. It also wont go into first at anything above 2mph. Its very notchy, not smooth like the Honda transmissions that I'm used to. Hopefully I have better luck with the SR trans and a short shifter.

hmmm my first car is a zenki s14 with a red top SR, then moved out to cali and bought me a hatch w/ singlecam slammer. the KA24E, imo, was slow and always leaked oil , so i swapped for a SR again. even though i could beat the living crap out of the KA, i overall love the feel of a SR. in a nutshell, i dont miss the KA at all. once u hav boost, u will never go back!!!

I love my KA24DE-T, have owned many SR20DET powered vehicles also and have never had issues with them as well but I like my KA-T, and reliablity of the engine weigh's on the owner because both these engines can go 300,000 miles maintained properly. All my turbo vehicles were daily driven and redlined daily countless times day in and out and never had issues...
