s13 Stalling out problem

I have a 1990 Soch 240sx and it stalls out on me randomly or won't start!
Both probs are intermittent, sometimes starts right up, other times takes a cpl min of pumping the gas to get it going.
The stalling out prob, I can b idling or shifting gears, when I give it has the rpms drop instead of increase. At idle in first sometimes gotta feather the gas to get pass the rpms droping!
No chk engine light, replaced battery, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and MAF sensor is clean! Anyone come across this prob or have advice for me?
Thanks

Although you might not have a check engine light, read the codes that might be on your ECU. Take off the passenger kick panel, unbolt the ECU, and turn the car to the ON position. Using a flathead screwdriver, spin the knob on the back of the ECU fully clockwise, then counterclockwise back to it's original position. The LED will flash two numbers. The first number is given in slow blinks, the second in fast blinks.

You can then google the codes. To reset the ECU, turn the car on then from the ON position. Be careful and make sure you've discharged yourself before touching the ECU, static electricity can burn up circuits. Good luck!

I'm leaning towards MAF is going out but it could easily be a vacuum leak, likely a large one on that. You can test that with a vacuum or boost gauge.

When the car stalls and you try to refire are you getting spark or are the injectors following fuel? I am also curious if there's good fuel pressure after the stall.

All great ?s that I don't know the answer to
I'm usually on my way somewhere when it happens!
Trying to crank it off I smell fuel like I'm flooding it, but won't start of I don't pump the gas, and when it does start it bogs down like it's trying to burn off the ecessive fuel

Clean and check your air idle control valve sounds like yours is either clogged or bad
