Options for a 350whp turbo

I'm looking to replace the t25 on my redtop so I'm looking for suggestions. I will have a family member in China soon so I have an opportunity to get a new turbo for cheaper than what I would pay here so I've been thinking t28 for a while, but I want to run a 350whp set up eventually.

I know the t28 maxes out at around 300whp, so what's an economical option considering my goals?

Also, I will be running this turbo on stock injectors low boost for the time being until I have the rest of the mods.

No offense man but this has been covered multiple times. Make an effort to search.

2871R is tried and proven to make that power level with supporting mods

I did search, but I wanted to ask if there were any other options + questions without necroing a thread. Can I run that turbo on stock fuel setup on low boost? Plus the 2871r is over a grand new isn't it?

Yes, you can run any turbo on low/no boost but you're not gonna make 350whp on the stock fuel system.

Right I know. I'm just asking for the time being until I have the supporting mods if I can run it on the stock setup/low boost w/o causing problems

Here's an idea, why don't you buy all the supporting mods first before you swap the turbo on. I don't understand why people buy something without purchasing the other associated items that NEED to go with it. Sure you can run the larger turbo on low (7psi and under) for the time being or just buy it all at once, get it tuned and rock out on 20psi.

You want 350 hp
Get the fuel first, then worry abou tthe turbo. No offense but if you're worried aboutng spending a grand on the turbo you'll need to run, then I'd assume you don't have the cash to do it at all.

Do it right, do it once. Half assing it will result in a blown engine, causing you to spend more in the end.

Fuel System
Tune
Turbo
