Coilover collar removal questions (pic)
I have ISIS coilovers on my s13 and so far I think they are pretty decent for the price, but like most people who use these I want more low. My question is mainly about the rear set. I have maxed out the rears (at least I think I have) but there is still a small gap on each side in between the two collars. Is this normal for the rear or is it just on this brand? At this point would it even make sense to remove the collars if the strut will not screw down into the perch any lower?

Collars are to be removed if you want to go lower, but all the collars are touching, preventing you from doing so... so unless you're gonna move the spring down or whatever, removing the collar would be pointless for you since the bottom bracket thing is already maxed out.
PS, next time try the small questions thread.

My megans did the same thing the rear perch wouldn't spin any more, and the rear was maxed out with both collars only other thing you can do is droop the spring if being low is more important than handleing
