Question Need help! fuel pump not working?

My fuel pump went bad so I replaced it with a Walbro fuel pump. I followed this guide to find my problems.

http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=108545

This is my problem now:
I followed this part of the guide:
"Check your fuse pump relay. Remove the relay. When you look at the pins of the relay, each pin is labeled with a number. Use a paper clip and jumper the 1 and 3 terminal on the wiring. If your fuel pump comes on with ignition, you have a bad relay."

I own a 1993 240sx that is manual swapped

Now that I have a working fuel pump, it won't get power. When I jumped terminal 1 and 3 with some alligator clips, it now gets power. I checked my relays and they are all working perfectly. But if jumping it with a clip gets it power, it couldn't be a wiring issue, could it?

I have no idea what the problem could be now, all opinions, input, or questions will help.

EDIT: Just checked the Voltage of the relays and all of them are getting 12.0+ volts while the one giving me problems is getting only 11.5V. Do the relays absolutely need 12V to trigger?

You also won’t get power to your pump and distributor if you have a bad eccs relay which on the s14 is right by the ecu, not sure about s13 and also there should be an efi fuse that will also affect power. Good luck

Test light. Or if you don’t have one, switch it with a known working relay

my fuel pump wouldn't prime when i would key on
come to find out, one of the wires on the underside of the fuel pump hanger was loose. the 3 or 4 wires under there look like they're riveted on from factory (i only glanced at them while the homie soldered the connection), but they resemble a rivet. solder the loose connection and fuel pump would prime again.

I have this issue. The wires on top of the fuel pump sending unit, the black one came off but I went to go ground it to the screw of the cap and pump won’t turn on. Any suggestions?
