J30 5-bolt axles, where to get?

Hey guys, I need a drivers side J30 5-bolt axle and I cant find them anywhere. All auto parts stores as well as online retailers seem to be out of stock.

Any ideas?

There hasn't been new ones at the auto parts stores in years. Even re-man they need your old core to rebuild them. So best bet would be wrecking yards. I found my set yrs back at a old wrecking yard.

Junkyard or car enthusiasts your area. I brought mine for 130 bucks and found out that I pay to much.

Six bolt one will work. Just knock out the half shaft and tap in the new one. Super easy.

Yes that will work too. I knocked out the 6 bolt half shafts from my old s13 pumpkin for my j30 though.

If you swap output flanges/shafts, your flanges must be vlsd flanges. Non -vlsd flanges don't work. ... I'm trying to find a set now. ... pricey new, hard to find used. Best bet would be to find a used 94+ j 30 diff and swap them out. .. sell the j30 diff as a five bolt after. ..
