Chase Bays Plug and Play Chassis Harnesses??!!

UPDATED PAGE 2

Just wanted to gather some interest. Its not 100% done (missing fuse/relay box)

Pricing we're unsure on still, haven't calculated time and material. Its a LOT of labor hours though. Very precise work like our engine harnesses. Ballpark cost will be $2,000+ for a full plug and play kit

Quick rundown of what this harness has, it would be 100% street legal

Headlights Low and Hi beam
Bumper Lights w/ turn signals
Side markers
Horn
Radiator Fan
Taillights w/ brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signals
Rear side markers
License plate lights
Armrest cigarette lighter (I will be replacing it with a USB port
Power Windows
Using FACTORY headlight switch on steering column
Push Button Start
Gauge Cluster
Radio with 4 speakers (speaker wiring not added in the pictures)
Sunroof
Windshield wiper with Hi and Lo functions
Engine harness

Anything not controlled by the OEM switches, we are looking into a touch screen switch board

Your thoughts?

I need a Chassis Harness so bad.... what if we send you our wiring (core discount)??

$2k is a bit steep... but we know you do great work.

What about custom hidden locations for the unit??

Definitely interested but I can't afford it (at the moment). Will the harness 'tuck' away all the current fuse/relay boxes? What about pop-up head lights, you thinking about adding that in too? Keep up the good work guys! Love seeing your new products.

This is chassis specific, not motor specific.

Im not sure if everyone is aware of this, if not you're about to learn. Most older ECU's and ALL stand alone/chipped ECU's (AEM, Apexi, Motec, etc) need 12volt, Ground, Starter signal, and Fuel pump to run. Thats it. Everything else is in the ECU. We all still need gauges and warning lights though so all that is in there. If you have a stand alone ECU this chassis harness will 100% work, doesn't matter what motor you have.

We would definitely need your core to use the plugs. We could send it back to you too but it will be missing about 10 or 20 plugs.

MadScientist and stinky_180...there is nothing stock used here except for plugs. We run our own relay/fusebox. We will be mounting it in the same spot as the stock fusebox behind the kick panel. This way you can unclip the fusebox cover on the kick panel just like stock if there is ever any issues

Here is one of our harnesses with the fusebox/relay board we will be using. All in one and compact. With an entire chassis harness it will more than likely be a 12 relay setup.

We can do pop up headlights, meaning we're capable. But it would take so long to do since there is 4 relays, a diode, and a timer. It would cost a LOT extra to do.

I think a touch screen switchboard that mounts in place of the stock HVAC unit would be superb.

If you are willing to work with each buyer to delete and or add certain things I think this is great. I would say 2K is steep but if the price changes based on what all the harness does I would be more than willing to pay what it is worth to save me all that time and cursing. I will keep an eye on this.

Chase I just went from 6 to MIDNIGHT!!!! hahaha. Awesome work bro!!! In the last two weeks you have released some awesome products and/or plans for awesome products. The price is kinda high but you get what you pay for! Will the engine harness come with this or will that be a separate order?

If anyone thinks this harness is expensive, then you don't even want to know what a touch screen setup to control the climate controls, windows, locks etc. would cost.

Chase, if you need first hand suggestions on the touch screen setup, give me a shout. My boy that owns Hybrid Audio Technologies uses one in his famous competition car... and it just so happens to be an S14. You literally slide your finger down the screen, in the appropriate place, to roll the window down etc. It also has full diagnosis, fuse and circuit status etc.

i honestly doubt many people on zilvia will put the money up for this, but its fucking awesome.

It'll be 100% oem functional right? Like everything that is there right now will be there when i'm done?

As well as does the fusebox move from the engine bay?

I couldnt call myself interested in this one. The chassis harness is generally out of harms way and stays in good condition, if a wire were to ever fail on me i would just replace that wire. and not spend 2 grand for something that is not necessary to me.

But im sure plenty of potential customers would shell out the money so dont worry about people like me.

Sorry for the delayed response. Kind of an INSANE week this week. Busy developing new 240 and EVO products.

Honestly, $2k is cheap. There is a lot of hours in this. There is a some companies (Sakata) that build these for $5k minimum.

Thanks! The objective of this harness is that we all don't run 50% to 75% of the crap that our cars come with, so this harness cuts out all that wiring with better material and better look. Anything you choose to keep will be fully functional however. all 3 fuseboxes are replaced with 1 fusebox that would sit in your kick panel area.

The touch screen would add cost, its still in development and probably wont be available for a while.

We will not be offering this harness with climate control.
