i may be so that the bumper "rolls" on the wall/ jersey barrier instead of the bumper getting ripped off. kinda makes sense in a stupid way.
I don't like it

not really useful at all, also if your exhaust sticks out farther than the bumper.
(look closely at the pic) dosent really matter tho. if your gonna hit, your gonna hit.

thats just fucking pure awesome. it clearly doesn't serve any real purpose but its there for when he gets that bitch sideways and scrapes the wall.. i guess if he does it perfectly.. the wheels just ride on the wall lol.

a reaction is a reaction
if you hit the wall at some angle, the force will be directly translated to your bumper. roller blade wheels will not magically turn the translational force into a rotational one, and propel you away from the wall. that is just asinine. if it does ANYTHING, and I mean the slightest bit, is that the rubber in the wheels can absorb some of the shock impact from the wall. but realistically, unless you're hitting it at 1 km/hr, it wouldn't do shit

I think theyre just there to be funny...you really think roller blades will absorb anything when you slam into the wall doing 80mph? Only thing itll be good for is if you "lightly" kiss the wall.

after thinking about this some more...
since the angle of impact on the bumper is usually very steep, and the relative motion... it will probably save some bumpers from being ripped off, since the friction against the two surfaces is greatly reduced. putting something that would create sparks would be a lot more friction (ie to cause sparks), and your bumper would be ripped off indefinetly lol

Just more proof that drifting is seriously ghey as hell. Only people who clearly love choking on penis would do dumb shit like put roller blade wheels on their car.

This stupid shit shouldn't even be in Chat.
Last time I checked, Rollerblades aren't made by Nissan, and certainly aren't S or Z Chassis. --------------> Off Topic

Just replace the bumper with a giant piece of Ti and watch the sparks fly! Like somebody else said, I can't honestly see the wheels doing much of ANYTHING. For one I am kinda curious has to HOW the wheels are attached. Are they attached to the chassis? I see this causing more harm than anything else

You know who should really look into making bumpers for drifters?
These guys: And for the guys who refuse to pay for the quality manufacturer, just go to Wal-Mart and buy the knock-off "pool noodles" and make bumpers out of them. They even come in flashy "Dorifto colors!"

Those wheels are for, "riding" the wall yo.
Get your Tony Hawk on. The Mopar one seems to have it in a better location at least. Either way, you'll never catch that shit on my car.

when drifting finally figures that it should goto a dirt late model chassis with a crate sbc for power then it will be a viable series. All this rollerblades in dodge charger crap just is gonna end up fail.
