Well my question is what does it do and how does it work if you look at my thread "does anybody know what can cause or fix this?" then you will understand why I need to know and before some ssmart ass say's search, well i have.

btw it is located at pin 4 on most nissan ecu's

It shouldnt matter it applies to all nissan ecu's and I would imagin it works in the same way but any way its a aem 1602-u sr
