Violent wheel wobble at any speed?! Unresponsive steering
Car is a 95 s14. Megan track coilovers. Cut knuckles, extended lca, j30 inners and new s14 outers. Isis tension rods. Very low maybe an inch or two of ground clearance.
All right so last week driving to work I left my neighborhood and stopped a a light. Took off and hit a small bump at around 35mph and my steering wheel started shaking uncontrollably till I slowed to 10mph. On the way home from work I hit a bump goin 40 and same thing happened. My front right coil turned out to be blown so I ordered a new shock and replaced it but the problem is still there.. Today I replaced the drivers side outer because the nut became stripped but still the problem is there.. When steering left to right there's almost like a delay from when I turn the wheel from right to left. When the wheel gets straight it takes a second for it to catch and then turn left or right. I've searched but haven't found anyone with similar symptoms and this is my daily so I need it fixed asap! I can't be driving and suddenly have to slow to almost a stop to get my wheel from shaking so bad.. Thanks in advance for any input on what I should try/look for. All subframe bolts are tight also |
