yeah, the tranq gun is great. i use that more than anything.

the mk.2 robot is a great tool as well, just hide in a good place, turn the robot invisible and go knock some guys out. makes sneaking easier.

edit: under 5 hours? jesus... impossible with all the cut scenes, haha.

the part where you first get on outer haven was frustrating for me, i was trying to rush through the game.

Last time I played I was stuck at the second boss that fly's around

gonna check a guide to see about tips and then ignore the guide from there and enjoy playing

cant wait to try it all over again on that unlocked level of difficulty, heard its a real bitch then.

idk online doesn't really grab me to play... If I want a fun online I am going to buy the new battlefield

picked it up again today.

beat it. still need to watch the epilogue though (stupid work).

imo the ending was... good, but not spectacular. the liquid battle was cool. going through each game and shit. idk, it just didnt feel as epic as the rest of the game

but besides that... screaming mantis was a cool fight. i just wish it required a little more thinking like psycho mantis did (controler swap, making the controller move, and his memory card reader).

i thought the "beast" bosses were kinda lame compared to previous games. they were out of place imo.

the akima/john and meryl thing was cheesy. i saw it coming since the cutscene in europe when he game her mouth to mouth (though i thought it would be a good time to kill her off at that scene)

anyway, when i get home, i will watch the epilogue and will give you my white opinion on that as well. i started it, but ran out of time.

use the face camo (which i never used until then) and go to the right. thats what i did.

sneak around, take out the geckos with the rail gun, open the hatch and youre good from there.

bought a ps3 just for this with the bundle, game is absolutely amazing in my opinion. havent beat it yet but im loving every part of it, the series always has such badass bosses and this group of female bosses is no exception

Best part of the game ever is shaking the six axis while rose is talking.

Another funny thing is holding up one of the frogs and where you would normally punch the guy in the balls you go to do it and the frog trooper says you guys are all the same and knocks you down. lol

I wont say where but you will recognize it... the screen doesnt say L1 but just press it when you realize it... when i realized what snake was doing, i pressed it too late when he was getting back up lol

i dont think im near half the game yet , but by the way the story line is going , seems like snake will be no more due to his aging, i have a feeling that maybe the next games will be about Meryl or something

I think the best part of the game is the flashback snake has of shadow moses and you get to play the first level in mgs1 all over again....in ps1 graphics too haha

FINALLY...GOT IT TODAY...its installing right now so imma go take a damn shower. Just got done pulling my engine out and i smell like an Okinawan...

And just looking at Snake standing there, holy shit, didnt realize how much detail they put into it...

just finished it. best story game ever! Not much gameplay but it was pretty much an interactive movie. Think i needa go pick up the collection now so i can play thru mgs2 and 3. I did play them tho so i was a lil familur with some of the characters from those games.

by teh way, i finished with the rating "Inchworm" and put 22 hours into the game

yeah, i really want a remake of mgs1 for ps3, the one for gamecube isn't that great, a friend has it and i wasn't too impressed. plus they changed some of the voice actors which annoyed me.

and is it just me or is solid snake normal super easy? i can't imagine the very easy difficulty.

now i'm just trying to get all the guns.
