Details are given upon purchase. It's a very simple mod that any machine shop should be able to do, or we offer the service for you.
I took a quick look at my GC8 and the starter would seem like the immediate problem. It mounts to the bellhousing side while the Z33/240sx mount to the engine side. I haven't looked into it any further though. Quote:

I am also interested in purchasing, but don't know how to contact George.
My mechanic is Garage Autohero (Rob Primo and Walker's car's builder). I will talk to him about this kit and see if he has some way to contact you. |

I think the holidays slowed down everyones shipment. I was having stuff sent and delivered that took longer than usual. Glad you got the stuff!

I have the plate and my trans in. Just an FYI to people i didnt know this before hand and called George to figure out this problem. OK so when doing the swap make sure that you use your Sr20 Throwout Bearing carrier. (part that hold the throwout bearing and attaches to your clutch fork) The stock 350z one is shorter. Causing the slave cylinder to not reach it. Sr20 one is longer taking up the extra space.

WHOA didn't realize the old thread was still up.
Plates are still available and in stock. We make all the necessary parts needed to complete the swap. KA plates are also available now.

Can you post pics of the KA setup im interested but i saw some clearance issues with the starter and bell housing when i was mocking it up. How much the machining work does it take to fit and the cost for the machining/kit. My trans and motor are in storage and i would love to clear up the space soon.

I'll try to track down some pics.
Chris Forsberg was doing the test fitting and "torture" testing with it in his KA-T missile car. He's been loving the setup and says it's held up great. I know the bellhousing has to be machined to clear the starter hood. ****picture of out 1.6L Miata to RX7 transmission adapter*** That picture shows the same cutout that is required for the KA. It's really simple and takes no time at all with a grinder.
