Can your haltech control a speedo/tach? might be cheaper than getting the boxes.
I used me aem to control the factory tacho in my 1j swapped sc. Hope fully i can start on my 240 project soon. Your build gives me something to look foreword to! |

I started her yesterday and let her run for a lil while… cant wait to get back on track.. Not only do i need a front end but a couple months ago when i drove the car in the snow for the first time sliding around my neighborhood i enjoyed a fine understeering experience into a very unaffectionate curb.. So yeah the rims pretty fucked since that back chunk broke off i don't think it can be repaired & nobody has another 18x9.5 gold with polished lip so my only option really is to spend $370 for a black with polished lip rim and paint the center… or i might just sell the 3 and buy new wheels. Not sure at this point but i replaced the front lower control arm that got bent like a paper clip and the tension rod that snapped with isis tension rods.

Yeah, i tried pleading with it before impact asking it to spare me and appreciate the time and hard work with the build…
The curb showed no mercy.

Couple days ago there was some nice weather here in new york so i took the car out for a little joy ride around the neighborhood. Which included the deli i get breakfast at and took this picture LOL
Then today these came straight from the motherland Today was even better weather, got up to like 65, and apparently its going to snow tonight and be back to 25 in a couple days… stupid new york weather. From driving my car on wet ground the underneath wheel wells of my tubs began to form some surface rust. So today i power washed the wheel wells, sanded off any remaining rust and sprayed them with under coating Didn't get a picture of the finished product but ill add one later. I Also installed my new silvia headlight brackets.

Aero bumper was vinyl wrapped so it was a bitch to take all that shit off but i did it.
I picked up an oem metal silvia hood last weekend. It was plastidipped. i took off almost half of it by hand and then said screw this, got my power washer and blasted off the rest. I also finished the metal work on the fenders and sanded them both down, next is to bondo a couple small areas on each fender then onto the hood. I should be giving my painter the front end to paint this weekend. Today i got side tracked and installed my 2step antilag (: , back to the fenders tomorrow!

Finished sanding everything down and test fit all the front parts i have so far, just waiting for the last few pieces to come in the mail.
Finished the body work on the fenders & sanded down ready to be primered and painted. Random Bay shot lol. I gave my painter the fenders and Aero bumper today, I just have to finish the hood. I'll probably finish it tomorrow or tuesday. Fenders & bumper should be painted and on my car by the weekend
