Fortune will do any spring rate, valving, and shock height you want at no additional cost. As of version 4 all fortunes are hand built in Richmond VA to order.

I always thought 15, 30, whatever-way adjustable was the amount of adjustment the knob at the top of the damper had? Maybe some of my noob is showing still, but I am confuse...

At any rate, they seem pretty legit and priced relatively competitively for what they offer - what with all the custom valving and the like.
Most OTS coilovers kit companies incorrectly market their dampers as "30 way adjustable" when in reality the most adjustability that even high end $1000 per corner shocks only have 3-way adjustable damping; rebound, low speed and high speed compression

The only thing that the entry level coilovers can adjust is rebound speed, and that usually means the "stiffer" it's set at the stronger (slower) the rebound on it works..

It makes people swear that the stiffest setting is the best but it just really makes the car feel more planted but at the expense of maximum tire grip.

I've been reading up on Feal but I wonder if they provide each buyer with a shock dyno for every shock they sell.

Also worth noting that a lot of adjusters really don't work as noted and one shock set to full stiff is probably going to be softer than another shock not yet at the full stiff setting.
As in say my right rear damper is set at 15 clicks and the rebound isn't as strong as my left rear damper which might be set to 12 clicks.

Which is why I think all those "performance" suspension systems that advertise "more adjustablility" usually means vague as hell handling and dampers that aren't really matched. Which is usually due to a factory with no quality control and workers just assembling your damper haphazardly with shim stacks in the wrong order, so-on.

Also swift springs really are the best springs money can buy..

Yeah, I have buddy club coilovers on my Miata. I swapped the original springs out for swift springs all around. It's incredible how much lighter they are compared to the others. Also seeing how smoothly the swift spring compresses is just awesome..

I really can't say enough good things about em.

If you havent driven on FEAL coils , then you cant really compare them, the big benefit to supporting FEAL( and odi) is one customer service, odi goes out of his way to talk with you about setup and adjustments, and if there is ever an issue he will take care of you. plus your helping him fund his FD program and he is locally based in Ontario CA.

after driving on a set of FEAL coils on a properly aligned car, id say it the best coil i have ever driven on, for the price point there's nothing that really compares. mind you if you have $2500+ then KW's are for you.

but to those who have never driven on a set you really cant come in here running your mouths about shit you don't know.

I have not seen a single review... so how can there be "anymore"?

Times like this makes me so pissed you all (ziliva, tuners, kids under 25) are such broke asses you could not afford a $24 magazines subscription. This is the shit they could have been reviewing like in the all the MuscleCar Rags.

Get a stock whatever, buy 5 sets of coils and take it out on the track. But no. Fuck you all.

My friend recently placed an order for Feal 441's for his 2013 WRX Sedan.. I was expecting odi to message him and maybe talk to my buddy but it never happened.. Anyhow, they were in stock, and shipped out next day.. They all came preset with preload and ready to install.. My friends WRX came out modestly lowered and while we haven't yet messed with the knobs, the dampers show that they're pretty nicely matched for the spring rates, and the ride is almost same as stock while handling is way better. The entire set up is a good 32lbs lighter than stock, and the fact they come with swift springs is a nice plus.

I hope a 240 owner with these coilovers can chime in and give you all a better idea.

If you ordered off the shelf coilovers without specifying that he wanted a custom setup there's no reason for him to call the guy.

You are right. They seem set up for a standard WRX. Set up well, at that.

Once long ago you could buy these things called "Car Magazines". They are made of paper and had lots of pictures and information. It was like a blog, but printed on paper, but unlike a blog it was updated only once a month.

This "printed blog" would then be sent to you house if you paid for a years worth of "printed blogs" upfront. This actually saved you money but still cost $20-$50, less then the cost of an X-box game.

These "printed blogs" also had tons of advertisements and advertisers would give the "journalists", which is what you call a blogger that prints his blog, free parts to try out and show off. So you had real content and data, not just pictures of the latest helladriftstancecaninebeetshow.

But.... everyone is a cheap ass broke illiterate rachet these days so they just read Facebook, blogs and forums for free instead of buying magazines.

Goodbye,

So you are upset because you believe no one buys magazines anymore?

Ok.
