i would watch this show. we'd have a weekly dick measuring contest on who came up with the cooler idea and execution of mods. Of course I would always win. today two guys are on a sport bike together going up coldwater canyon i looked strait at them and said how gay. they both gave me a thumbs up saying awesome car. hear this at least twice a week.

Hahahahaha DOWN for the TV show. I've actually been approached about being part of an internet/youtube series for the drift culture, don't know what ever happened to it.
Technically we did a bunch of episodes of Luke's build, that was like a TV series. But without Wayne, so it couldn't be that cool.

That was a pretty kick as series. Much better than most of the car shows on tv.
The three of you should get a car building show on Spike. Blow those rednecks out of the water with the east meets west monsters the three of you could put together.

however, i have no interest in posting my thread publicly because of the following: a) i have no interest in other peoples comments, opinions, nor their criticism b) i'de like to hope that one day, my car and its parts dont end up in the "stolen section" (which has already happened) c) i hope that in 2020 when my car is partially completed, that its still somewhat unique d) im not trying to e-measure my cock and compare it with others, stroke my ego, etc. i do this shit for myself and enjoy being a selfish fuck about it with that said, i've linked numerous people in the past to my thread who are friendly, polite, curious, etc. i dont bother even posting on my own forum which is why its rarely updated. i work on car-related projects daily and when it comes to my own personal work, i'm usually burn out, tired, and only work on it when time permits. i hope that answers your question, nissan nick. partially true. the stuff ive been working on lately hasnt really been note-worthy. anyway, back to our scheduled program with your car. |

I wish there was some program with my car... what to spend money on.
turbo being rebuilt replacement hood painting my valve cover so I can finally put it back on the car down payment for weds kranze wheels. of course june is one of those retarded 3 paycheck months where if you're not careful with your money you'll bone yourself the following month. So Just being cautious where I'm allocating funds at the moment.

The color of your taint mike! True story I was looking at your headlights for the 240 and still can't bring myself to spend that much money on your awesome headlights. But I gotta say your flash app for the slideshow is pretty fucking slick, it's like from being off to turning on the hid and it slowly warms up.
It's little details like that, which make me admire you as a fabricator and a techno geek. I'm sure you'll probably go check it out and go "holy fuck that is cool I didn't even notice" just like when I told you your secret box sends email notifications for thread subscriptions haha. Anyway I will post a link to this blog post when I finish it. Even the simplest things in the world are hard as fuck for some of the people here to do. http://om1kron.blogspot.com/2011/06/...hings-pt2.html

Mike I'm having Richard Rabe paint the valve cover, another member on Zilvia I referred to him and Luis Gonzales pretty much had a completed version of what I envisioned finished.

So the hood is sitting in my room awaiting me to stop being lazy and head over to home depot for more discs, also the hood doesn't use oem bolts for some odd reason so now I have to get a bag of bolts from the zone to see what fits and what doesn't. LAME! I was also up at ASB I said hi to a lot of people and got level 10 faded on saturday. Finally was able to cut off the hair I've been grown for the past 2 and a half years to donate so I was nice and bald. A lot of people I don't see normally didn't recognize me. I was wearing this after getting burned to shit! So you may have seen some guy with the loudest shorts in the world all oiled up when I had the guns out and blazing lol. Anyway LXZ's are pretty much ordered, going with 18x10 all around -7 out back and +6 up front.

The motor I need to have disassembled and inspected to see if it's any good (my spare) My spare t25 just finished getting rebuilt but I can't even pay for it because I commited to paying for the expensive ass wheels. I need to get the spare motor built first, then I'll get the EFR turbo 6074 and FR manifold to go with it. Then Haltech and Racepak dash display. After that it's a matter of taking the car out of commision to fabricate ducting for the high mount intercooler setup. Still trying to figure out how I want to play the radiator game, and if I want one of those crazy dual core radiators that I can run both my water and oil through so I don't have an external oil cooler taking up space in the ducting I will need to build. Then hoping I can get someone to mold my ducting out of carbon fiber or kevlar and make some nice bracing for that. Once the new engine build starts the car will have no choice but to be de-commisioned from daily driving so I'll have to buy another daily, there is just no way around it. So much money to wrap my head around I can't even pin a day on when a track day will even be relevant. Factor in I still want to move into a house with my own fucking garage so I don't have to drive to my buddy Jeff's house or inconvenience someone else for space to wrench on it. Maybe 2-3 more years realistically. Obviously once the motor stuff is all situated I will probably take fuel and aero a bit more serious, and will definitely want some krazy kognition wing for the car. I'll just play it by ear financially and what I can afford within means without being on that ramen diet man. Too old for that shit, starving to impress.

It's been a minute so I guess I'll update this... I was kind of in a hurry to get to work after finishing my car and took a homeless shower in the bathroom. Tried to stop at vons to pick up a t shirt to wear since the one I'm wearing is covered in dirt and other fluids and all they had was a barbie shirt with jewelry all over it.
As much as I wanted a clean shirt on, I guess I didn't want one that bad. So I'm driving the car up the street from the bank, and my temps are hitting mid 85, I think nothing of it because I was driving in 1st gear due to construction going on. Then I tried to drive to work cruising the streets and this shit got all buckwild on me. my temps are in the following degree formats. 70c/158f warm 80c/176f when doing spirited driving 90c194f when spirited uphill for long periods and quickly will go down to 80c After my shift I pop the radiator cap thinking this thing was just topped off with coolant 3 days ago and the res is half full why is it overheating? I couldn't smell anything funny and engine's ambient temp when opening the hood seemed normal. And bam coolant just starts peeing on the floor. =( I didn't know how bad the severity of the leak was so I parked the car for a few days and hit up my boy Jack "azndoc" at Jordan Innovations to throw his radiator he's trying to plug here on my tab and I'd throw him a little cash. Saturday I headed out to Nisei, little local show out in Japan town saturday to chill with some of my old honda homies! You know that internet meme picture with the cat with the lambo doors next to real lambos with normal doors... yeah they had some real lambos there with normal doors, lulz. Saw this Z from Royal Origin, I like it! And I don't like shit!!! So that's saying a lot, the picture is pretty horrible but in person that shit bangs. I hope it's a girls car though cause those are some fruity ass colors doe! NWP4LIFE - Honda Forums: Nisei Showoff and intro NWP4LIFE - Honda Forums: Nisei Showoff by Dj murdok photos for more coverage, I posted the two links above. Anyway Jack said cool so bam. Here I am at the shop today! Pretty much what the car does now when it's parked, just leaking. LOL! Took off my upper core support, because.... Removed the a/c condenser since a/c on my car hasn't been hooked up like since ka everything is there except the side of the pipes with the swirl canister and triple pressure switch. (my brother junked it) *facepalm* No room for my coolant res in the oem spot cause of those jank ass s14 ebay pipes on my s13 motor. In due time, so much shit to buy another intercooler isn't on the list of priority. I got some cool stuff planed for the bay. I think after the LXZ's get here though I'm going to save up and buy a beater car for 2g's a straight dgaf car to get to and from work and put some serious work into Simone. Anyway drained the coolant in the motor, look at how nice that looks. I was thinking about throwing it back in, that coolant is officially 1.5 years old, haven't changed or flushed it once. Glad to see the water pipes on this old piece of shit aren't dirty! Here is my old ebay radiator to the left that came with my swap, I guess the leak is high and in the middle of it. I couldn't quite tell once I got it off of the car where it sprang from. On the right is a Griffin Radiator for s13sr20. (which I might add is doing a great job of keeping my motor cool!) I bought some water wetter from autozone, and Jeff is like....... yo baby wake from your asleep, this shit is from de future! Jeff also hooked it up (meaning he had it in stock, I didn't get it free lol) with a new air filter, I had a blitz metal air filter on the car for the longest time, now I got a legit synthetic aem filter. Again no pics ran out of time.... Fast forward a lot of bolts and zip ties later and some paint (touched up my haggard ass intercooler, and paint chips. I did use a lot of his paint though so win!) before after downside (front plate is back on, cop cars got these missile launcher shits on them now that can alert them you don't have a front plate so they can cite you for it =/) and that's all I have for you... Next time I'll show you how to get rid of your s13 driver seat for a proper s14 driver seat....

Awesome it was just a radiator! I was gonna suggest to pressure test it to see so this really works out for you!
LOL @ Water wetter return for the AMSOil stuff Curious as if there is any difference with that, as I know the water wetter works freakin well... (off topic)...when I was in Iraq we just got the new up armor trucks and they were running ridiculously hot...sent DEI an email and they shipped me a case of it for the trucks...dumped it in, and immediately saw a 15-20* reduction in temps which is huge! (Eventually we found out from TACOM the gauges were the wrong ones and they weren't running that hot, so we essentially undercooled them, but hell we didn't know)

Wayne worked his ass off all day yesterday on that car, it was awesome seeing this white collar dude who normally just watches me fix stuff SLAVING in the 85* shop, in a white tee shirt no less. <3
The Amsoil Coolant Boost does a lot of the same things as Redline's product as far as surfactants (cooling through greater contact with the head), but has a much better stability and corrosion package. Also, it's designed to work exclusively with ionized water/coolant, and NOT with distilled (deionized) water, which is awesome since antifreeze has some great corrosion properties as well. Redline works best in straight distilled water, so there are compromises with coolant mixes and Redline.

oh yeah, updated picture of the engine bay...
Jeff : "why isn't your new valve cover on?" Me: "because it's not painted. And it has a/n fittings. and I haven't replaced my oil pissing turbo yet. and because I don't want that pissed oil in/on my black braided aeroquip hose." Jeff: "we can just spray the hoses with brake clean." Me: "o_O"
