Maf or something else

Alright yall. Finally getting my sr20 where it needs to be to drive. Only thing is when my maf is plugged in the car idles pretty normal with afrs round 14-17 for about 5 seconds. Then suddenly goes stupid and leans out around 22. Doesnt die, but it stays that way. Once i unplug the maf though it idles at 10 to 12 with a perfect idle and stays consistent. But that's rich I know people are gonna say its the maf. But im not sure. Any help?

Sensors work together - unplugging one and seeing open loop operation doesn't mean it was causing the problem.

Test it.(FSM, etc)

Ok yall. Update. It was something stupidly simple. My boost gauge got rubbed and a hole got sliced through it. Its always the simple things that get over looked.
