Bottom line is they sold me a shot engine...every piece was there and I showed them the damage that was on the engine. I had the receipt in hand and was within the warranty. Even after explaining everything I had to go through because of their mistake I STILL had to haggle to even get a partial refund. FUCK THAT.

They walked me through their little chop shop and I could tell nobody gave a shit. One guy took a turn too sharp with a tranny tagged for resale on a fork lift and the thing hit the ground and rolled at least 10 feet before the guy threw it back on the pallet and kept driving.

Dealing with LKQ was an awful experience.

when i bought my motor was afraid of the hit or miss bs,i ended up getting a motor from a friend who wanted to get something bigger and better..The guy drove to my house and took me for a ride etc etc before buying..This motor was well taken care of and i knew that i wouldnt have a problem with it..But i wouldnt had done that then ZEROLIFT wouldve been my go to place for a motor.

I hope everything comes out good..

I think I'll be alright I stopped worrying about it after freezing up credit besides these guys are calling from a land line if anything happens they can be tracked down. I doubt they'll do anything with it, although I'm still not cleared why they needed it.


Anyways, my motor appears to be in Texas already I gave the kingsway transport a call and they gave me an ETA of 2/3/11 , but I'll have to get them to ship it on 2/4/11 because I have work. I'll let you guys know and take photos of the engine and too be honest I'm not worried about the condition of it anymore I'm just going to sign it and keep it.

i got a notch top from naganousa last december, it came with the maf sensor which wasn't included on the sale, but the turbo-manifold gasket was blown and the propels damaged, but it runs strong anyway, just a little lag before 2500rpm

I wanted to know why it wasn't working and wanted proof that it was a junk engine. I figured I was doing them a favor by finding the problem.
Besides what are they going to do resell the junk engine?
All the pieces were there and I even assembled most of the engine to keep everything together. Live and learn I guess.
