J30 projecters!!!! HELP!!!
I have recently done a Silvia front... hood, bumper, bumper support, and fenders. I had planned on using these j30 lights but I can't for the life of me think of a way to mount them lol and I was also thinking about using my stock pop up lights with no housings but yet again can't figure out how to mount them where they would be effective without using wire ties lol HELP!!

Just throwing this out there, but most folks with Silvia front ends simply use Silvia headlights. It's a bit of wild thought, I know, but it's true.
Make your own brackets for the J30 lights if you really want to use them. Worst case scenario is you zip tie them on. Whatever you decide to do, I'm willing to bet it's going to look funky.

dude, where are you getting those ridiculous prices from? Look around the forums. Projectors typically go for under $200. Halogens typically fetch near the $300 mark.
Stop looking at overpriced JDM sites or overseas ebay seller listings.

If its a missile (which mean it should only be on a track) then it doesnt need headlights.
Quit being a dickhead and take peoples advice. Otherwise get off the internet.

Why would you do a front end conversion and then not get the headlights???? Figure out a way to do it yourself if you have to have the j30 lights. It is going to look terrible no matter how you mount them

You could create a surrounding adapter, bracket that goes over the whole light. Then mark and drill holes for the J30 tabs. make sure the adapter is the same size as the triple projectors or bricks. Use sheet metal and bend it so it has tab's you can drill. All that being said no matter if you center, or move them to outside or inside they are going to look really weird

My Comment was actually useful...
Step 1: Trace the J30's on sheet metal Step 2: make an adapter to the correct shape of projector/Brick Step 3: measure it twice Step 4: cut it out Step 5: mount it..wire it and done

If you are a good car mechanic at a shop and do good work there, you also do good work on your personal vehicle. If you are a writer and do good editorial work, you also do good work on your personal writing. Bottom line is if you have a good work ethic it usually carries over to personal life. So if you are an expert editorial writer, you should be a good internet forum thug writer. This obviously does not hold true to you so either you are lying, or you actually suck at writing! As far as me shooting myself, it is not likely to happen. I shoot for my job, and I also shoot for my hobby. Just like stated above I am good at one and it shows in the other, constantly! p.s. I will be awaiting an educated response my boibrah.

Last I heard UC is a public university, but must be as hard to get into as MIT. Either way I live in New Mexico with my uncle and don't plan on leaving any time soon. UC offers aerospace engineering, take that and fabricate some aerospace quality head light housings. Did you look at the link I posted, and is that something like what your boy is trying?

My question, has anyone ever tried replacing the J30 projector into the Silvia projectors, not like this guy is doing but like the TSX projector retrofit? Cause J30's are a dime a dozen in these junk yards in/near Chicago.
Why is everyone too lazy to learn to drive/drift right? Everyones got a new fanboy word for 2012...."missile car" I'm sure it was started by a Honda guy who can't drive a RWD Now every 15-20 year old that can't drive says and if you're older than the ages posted, stop trying to be a teenie bopper |

people seem to lose the line bewteen drift beater and missile.
drift beater= beat, shitty, you dont care about it but it has a clean, straight body. missile= run it into walls, play door tag. drift, hit shit, repeat. |

"Missile" is the new word for broke ass kids, that can still manage to afford knock off wheels instead buying actual quality performance parts.
