MHO

(this should probably be in "chat"...?)

JDM recycler are a very, very large importer (NOT just a resaler!) of JDM engines in southern california... I've personally done business with them (from $1500 to $50 transactions) and they are a shop/importer to be trusted. Although I've not bought any engines or clips from them, I am sure that David (or Mike) would sell anything that they knew was faulty.

AFAIK, they do compression tests on all the clips and engines that they import, which is a LOT. Correct me if I'm wrong (-David), but they should be receiving a shipment of 100+ engines/clips within a month or two. These guys are the real deal!

If you have any questions, I'm sure David would be more than happy to answer them for you. His phone number is in a 7-page thread in the FS/Group Buy (forget which one), and is both easily accessible and very helpful. Drop him a line and if you end up making a purchase, you can tell him Adriel made a recommendation.

TheSparo~ As an importer/wholesaler we will offer you the most comprehensive testing available to insure your clip is in certified running order. As a new policy, prior to any shipping or installing of any clip we test start and run all of the clips for at least 2 minutes. During this time we are listening for any irregularities or signs of a weak engine.. We still continue to perform our routine leakdown and compression test on all of our motors.
On our next large shipment both myself and mike will be travelling overseas to hand pick our shipments. We are in the process of fabricating a simple fuel delivery system to simply attach to clips allowing our overseas counterparts to test and run every clip that is sent to us.... We will be bringing our test equipment and show our suppliers how to test and insure we are recieving the best possible clips..

If there are any technical question you may have feel free to ring me at 714.713.1749.

Adey~ thanks for the fill in answers. I did not see you stop by today to pick up the headlight cover...

Jeff240sx ~ TWO THUMBS UP!!! keep up the excellent work you super MOD!!

This is a very good question by TheSparo. I will try to post the same reply on that infamous 7 pager thread so that other peeps are informed.....

Regards,
David
