So your gonna drop a base coat. Then go back and fix what? (dent or runs?)

That would mean now you gotta base coat all over again.

Then drop clear.

So how much do they charge to wast time to base coat a car for nothing .I they are gonna go back & scuff it up. JUST SAYIN

If their is a bodyman that would do this thats silly to me. Thats what a guide coat,or a dust coat is for, when the car is still in primer. JUST my opinion. But props to you if you can get that kinda work done for under 1g

PAC AUTO BODY yes i can vouch for ozzie and his guys work. they painted my schassis full color change legit job and took care of some minor dings! ozzie is legit. painted a friends s13 and dc2 as well

ozzie is the shit ^^^^^^^^^ I got my engine bay and exterior painted there, came out great

called today and talked to anne. price for the 2-stage is $495 but that only covers basic prep (sanding). any body work is extra, and if you have sideskirts, lips, etc, that stuff is also extra if you have the pieces painted individually. otherwise if those pieces are attached to the car then it's covered under the original price. With maaco if you find the right one they will do a decent job. The mascot over in orange off batavia I think it is, he owns a clean datsun 240z and has done a few 240s, he is the only maaco I would trust
