kevins kouki build !!!
Well to sum to sum it up i built this car to replace my old zenki i crashed in to a side of mountain playing around with my friends lol. its been almost done for 2 years now but its defently changed over the years!!
Back story crashed my car and i was super desperate for a s14 shell i checked every where. Not having a truck or tow was a pain in the ass. but after a month of looking i found a shell. Here is ugly... picked up in union city from some Jamaican dude clamming it was running and the best car in the world lol.. far from it..  263894_2238699570503_7181329_n by Aallmighty, on Flickr i then got it home to strip it and toss in my sr from my old s14. Heres my motor coming out of my old  motor pull from old zenki by Aallmighty, on Flickr was out. this build is so complecated because my s14 i modded already was kinda built the engine mods are gt2860rs, tomei 256 cams tomei ras random manifold. blitz dp greddy pulleys blah blah blah no one cares lol. so i rented a uhaul and a tow bed .. million dollars btw from them drove about 25 miles from my house to union city to pick up the so called best car ever lol. i dont have any picks but the next day got it home and started to strip it. And use all the good stuff from my old shell.  IMG_0248 by Aallmighty, on Flickr i then got a half assed beat kouki hood and and some cheap frp fenders. i fogured the zenki front was all beat might as well commit and go kouki.. plus i had the parts so it would be cheap LOL.. so wrong was i. for got to post lol. but any ways to pick up where i left off. kouki went through a bunch of change. at the time and at the time rpf1 driving the car all the way from the bay area all the way down to La. never been to La and my buddy took me to all the cool shops and spots. my little s14 has never failed me. wound up picking up a greedy lip for the car as well.

the trip down to socal was awesome i went to frsport and picked up a new bride zeta 3 for the car. till this day they still remember who i am they all ways give me great deals i love them haha.

im kinda catching up here sorry about the organization skills here. but over last year i wound up ditching the ftp fenders and trading the rpf1 for a set of xd9 18x10 +18. was so happy because this is where my car started to turn for the better.

wound up doing 300zx brake up grade. they where great brakes !!!! also if you look my hood looks weird i wound up getting a mint hood but for some strange reason the old owner tried painting over the pearl lol.. looked like a i ran some thing over.

after a few months of driving around with a blood stain on my hood i sold the hood for a good amount and got a new seibon hood. and at the time my lip wasn't painted i know paint the lip lol
 also wound up picking up a set of gandadors that just needed a little bit of Tlc haha |

so before i could even install these it was my birthday. Me and my girl where driving up high way 9.. popular road in the bay area lol. doing 30 and a dear ran right in to my fender i did not hit him he hit me... so for my birthday my girl got me a new fender hahaha but it was not painted =( but to be honest i really liked how my car looked. it just looked like Frankenstein

so after a few months i found a jdm kouki bumper locally. you guys have no clue how hard it is to find any jdm parts locally in the bay area.. every thing is in so cal so i hopped right on it. i also wound up painting the ganadors black for the time being until i paint my car.

at this point i figured the car needed to be one color and i needed a few up grades I've. to tell you guys the truth.. I've had this car dynoed making 330 whp with 300 pounds of torque. and I've been running on a busted to fuck vlsd that just doesn't allow me to do any thing... so i picked up this

so before i even purchased this stuff about 3 months ago i wound up replacing my all my rear subframe bushings with pbm solid subframe risers and spl solid diff bushings. it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Although its very loud lol its worth it for the diff I'm dropping in. i did it all by my self took me about 3 days because i had the shop press the bushings in to the subframe.. lol and then i decided to paint the subframe orange lol rattle can.

so after all of this i wound up painting some parts. my lip my bumper and my fender. my buddy nish wound up doing it all for me. not bad for our first time painting.

wound up selling my kouki sides and getting navan side skirts and shine auto oem kouki valences.

at this point i wanted more low and mores aggressive fitment. so i did 20mm spacers in the front and 25mm spacers in the rear of the car. this put me at 18x10-2 and 18x10-7 my poor lip started to chip from hitting some stupid pine cones in the road one day lol. this is my last up date as of now but it been a journey for sure!!

i lied i can't stop lol i should be doing my home work but ill start that after this post. So me being crazy i really wanted a bad ass strut brace set up so my friend sold me a rare newer nismo s tune strut bar and i ordered nagisa shakiito plates from rhdjp. i really like the set up although it makes it a pain in the ass to change you're clutch and brake fluid lolz. i also wound up doing spl outer tie rods and 300zx inners really nice. its worth the money.

So after a few days of figuring out all the little things I needed. I put in my tomei LSD. Broke it in last night. Going to do a few more figure 8s then drain the diff fluid
I also got around installing my wilwood brake kit. Took me 3 attempts to get the right sized fittings lol but I got them. Speed shop kept selling me the wrong ones. |
