manual Boost controller install question.

So I just got a manual boost controller and I have vacuum line running like this on my S15 SR:

Actuator ===> Boost controller ====> Nipple under the throttle body.

Is this correct??

I also have theo following "extra" nipples that I don't know what to do with

- a second one under the throttle body
- one on my IC piping
- one coming out of my HKS BOV.

What do I do with the three unused ones? Just plug them off (thats the advice I've gotten so far)?

Also, my BOV has this hanging off the nipple. This may be something left over from my Apexi AVC-R.. Or is this something I need. It's like a small flat filter or something...

Thanks for your guys' help!

Its a check valve inline to help with the BOV, u can keep it wont hurt nothing. Connect the BOV to the second nipple under the throttle body. Also as long as your boost controller is oriented properly you have it correctly inline.
Lastly you want to plug any nipples that are venting to atmosphere.(the nipples on IC pipe)

Perfect. Thanks man!

I guess just to confirm.... :P

Actuator =======> Boost IN side of Boost controller
Throttle body ====> Boost OUT side of Boost controller

Right? :S

throttle body=========boost in/boost out=========actuator

your boost controller fools your actuator making it get a different amount of boost and causing it to open where you're desired pressure is. make sure not to overboost or you'll be sorry.

^That. The actuator works on boost only and is not designed for vacuum. Run the wastegate vacuum line to the nipple on the ic piping. One nipple on the throttlebody to the fpr. One nipple to the bov. Never t into the fpr line either.
