It dosent really get hot where I am, highest I've seen was 98 degrees and that was years ago, also the brake booster and the down pipe will be wrapped, so I won't have any problems

Update!
okay the wiring has proven very difficult; im having a very hard time maiting the wiring, but in the mean time I did some super angle mods. i should have over 72 degrees of lock. ^_^ can you say reverse entry's??
that's all I have for right now until I get the wiring done which I don't know how long that will take me.

How is putting an RB20 or a CA18 into it any different than an SR? I'm not hating on your build at all, I'm just curious as to why an RB or CA would be "dumb".

is to not throw off the weight distribution off to much, and they are cheap, reliable, and there is an abundance of information on the the engine. i guess calling the other motors a dumb choice wasnt the best way to put it, its just dosent suite me and what i want to do.

I find it hard to imagine you would ever notice the 100lb difference in weight.
The RB25 shines by having a significantly better transmission and the extra half-liter of displacement. RB20 is garbage and the CA18 is a step in the wrong direction. |

But to add to the rb25 debate , they're MORE expensive not "roughly" the same price. Parts are much more expensive and harder to find. S1 or S2 Rb25? How many headaches do you want? His choice of the SR is much smarter then a Rb series and has plenty of room for power for his goal. |
