:+: Quick Silvia HID question :+:
I have the S13 Silvia Dual Projector headlights and planning to get HID kit.
Probably Mtec, Mccolluch or Prolumen. Most GOOD HID companies only have H3 bulbs but our Dual Projector headlights run H3c. I know they are similar, so can we use the H3 HID kit without mods? I assume so, but just to check before I buy it. LET ME KNOW guys, thanks. |

To run HIDs you need HID projectors.
If you plan to do it correctly.

Oh you mean a real HID retrofit?
I probably wont do it, because of time and money. I guess my question is can I run the H3 HID bulb in our H3C Dual Projector Housing. (I'll probably blind people) but I guess this is what I have to do, I can't see shirt at night. Maybe retrofit in the future. I just want to confirm fitment..So, will it work? |

yes it wil work...H3 and H3C are physically interchangable bulbs, only difference is that H3 require a seprate ground wire, and H3C's have both positive and negative terminals. with a HID bulb it wont matter b/c the wires from the bulb go to ballast.

I crammed a kit into the stock projectors. It was a bitch and a half. The bulbs didnt directly drop in and had to be modified.
dont think my headlights blind people too bad, i never get flashed. I use a 12k McColluch. |

i have tripples and i took the "bulb" holder out of the high-beam (h3C type) and put it in the low-beam socket (H1) and i didnt have any trouble sticking a h3 bulb into a H3C socket
