So i bought some lithium grease and greased up the spring like crazy but the sound is still there. I had my cousin press the clutch down while i was under the car and the creak is definately coming from under the car. What is creaking??
And how can i fix it? And plus i can feel it creak in the clutch pedal.

I haven't gotten a chance to see where mines is coming from but it seems that it's the pedal and not the clutch.

My clutch does a "click, click, click" when I push it in so I thought for sure it was about to go...but it's been doing that for about 2 months now and I can still bark the heck out of 2nd gear so I don't think it's anything too serious - at least it's not slipping Wow, sounds like several of the 240's are doing this, hmm...

I have the same problem and it is driving me nuts. I greased the spring and the rod going through the firewall and it stopped for about a day. I even had a friend push the clutch while I filled it with grease and it is still loud.

Join the crowd!

There's an arm that the hydrolic clutch cylinder thing pushes into. that pivot on the tranny may need some grease.

I got a little squeek still, it adds character to the car

I'll add into the fray, and say "Mine does it too!" I've done all the greasing and oiling, and it doesn't make a difference. Just learn to love the squeak. At least you know your clutch is working then. Just like my steering wheel squeaks when its insanely humid out. Quiet little squeak, but at least its not annoying.
