Dash/Switch light upgrade question

Been a member of Fresh Alloy since 2001 but that board has really died, so I thought I'd try to ask my question here.

After reading threads about gauge lighting and many other threads on different forums I got ambitious and re-did ALL the lights in my S13 dash with brighter bulbs (Gauge cluster, Switches, and HVAC) it looks GREAT but I have one question before I button everything back together. When I took apart the Cruise control switch to replace the bulbs I noticed that there was no bulb behind the Cruise "Off" switch only the two for the Cruise "On" button. I thought this odd, but when I tested the switch, the off button didn't light (as I expected it wouldn't). I was just curious if anyone can verify for SURE if the "Off" switch should illuminate or not on the S13's.

Also as a side note for anyone doing their dash lights: There are two optional illumination bulbs that many S13 clusters came without but you can purchase from Nissan for $20 each. They go on the far left and far right of the cluster and make the cluster MUCH brighter (especially in the corners) and the holes for them on the back of your cluster may or may not be covered with black tape from the factory. They use the same bulb and socket type as the red warning lights but require a blue "condom" to match the 3 other larger illumination bulbs. This was the reason I ordered them from Nissan and didn't just use bulbs/sockets from another cluster. Kinda sux because I really only needed the "condoms" but had to buy the Bulb/Socket/Condom set from Nissan to get them! If anyone knows where we can get those bulb condoms by themselves you could save $39 and replace ALL your dash lights for under $40 (and that's on the high-end!)

Scroll down to the rear view of the cluster. The 2 bulbs I'm talking about are bulb "B".
