RB S13 RB26 swap

Not doing anything crazy with the swap right now just doing the minimum to get my car going
Purchased an R32 front clip

Working on figuring out the oil pan situation my self.
Going to cut and weld the stock down pipes

Feel free to comment with some help and productive criticism.

Taking the guts out of the Diff is pretty straight forward. Take off some bolts pry out and bang some stuff.

My cousin was kind a bough to help me with cutting off the diff peace. Took it to work and chopped it off.

Used this little thing to cut and grind the rest down. Pretty easy. The contents of this oil pan is pretty amazing! I don't think I'd feel safe using anything else.

Had this extra S13 crossmember laying around thought I'd put the McKinney mounts on it and tighten it down and seeing if it clears Lulz. I'm going to put on a new water pump, N1 oil pump and some new belts.. I'll keep you posted.

I tapped the axel pipe and it flew out! I was going to leave it in there. My logic was if it kept the oil out of the diff it'll keep the oil from spilling out. I was 100% going to regret it.

I put the pipe back in so shards of aluminum and aluminum dust won't get in there.
These rings came out after cutting a peace off of it.

The ring that's missing a peace ate up my grinder blade

I was working on the oil pan and my dad walks up and asked what are you doing now? Told him now it's time to weld this fat hole. My dad's a master machinist he suggests tapping and plugging it..
Here it is. The threader says 11 1/2 and the plugs are 1 inch. JB weld the plugs and used a silicon gasket for the oil pan

I actually didn't cut the diff off my self. My cousin took it to work. I guess they have a machine shop and chopt it off. The rest was that little grinder. I'm sure it would've but the diff off but not as well.

I'm not sure what you're trying to show me with that link...

Do you have any flap discs? If not, go grab a few 36 or 60 grit ones. So much easier to work with than grinding discs.
