Clutch/Gearbox noise (video inside) s15 sr20
4years ago the clutch destroyed itself out of the blue
So I bought a exedy clutch, pressure plate, driftworks lightened flywheel for 6speed box, release bearing and spigot bush, car drove for 50miles and I parked it up for about 3years, Started driving it again a couple weeks ago and now it's making this noise sometimes when I engage the clutch, dosnt matter if I'm in gear or not, iv a feeling its the release bearing... But if it was wouldn't it be doing it every time I engage the clutch, seeing as the clutch was replaced and it's only done little mileage I'm thinking is there something wrong with the gearbox that caused the first clutch to go and it can quickly do the same to this clutch too. I have a little video uploaded if someone would like to take a look and give me some guidance https://youtu.be/sWXKM_EgeXk Thanks Alan |

Yeah that's the bearing. Pull it and replace it.

Could be the throwout or the pilot bearing both would make noise when u depress the pedal. it shouldn't make more than a light hissing noise though if it makes any noise
if its just a light hissing noise id pay it no mind for now |
