There is an auto-x being held at the old Tanger Outlet Mall parking lot (where the tornado a couple years ago ripped the mall apart).
$18 for single class (4 runs) + $15 for second class (4 runs). Registration from 9 - 10am. Driver's meeting at 10:30 with runs starting at 11. http://www.neokla-scca.org/SoloII/Schedule/default.shtml for more info. ALSO, apparently, there's no running water or shade left (thanks to the tornado...) so plan accordingly. BUT, IT'S AN AUTO-X EVENT FOR US TO GO TO!!!! I guarantee that I will be there with my Red S14. (Edited by 96SEChick at 10:38 am on July 7, 2001) |

Everyone I've talked to is interested, but none of us is 100% sure what's going to happen. We'll have more ideas after this weekend, hopefully. I'm sure we'll be able to meet.

Milk, if you're still going to be in OK on July 28 or 29, there is another auto-x at the same place in OK (it's between Tulsa and OKC on I-44 (Turner Turnpike). I know you said you weren't sure if you would be here or in Colorado, so let me know. If you're in OK then, we can go and do that.

Drifter, what do you mean by "how high are your red sox?"
Actually, I didn't run my car. I can't afford to ruin my rear tires right now (they're getting pretty bad--no $ to replace), and I'm still having a weird transmission clunk. But, there were 2 other 240's out there--one was a new member on our forum--jkt558--with his 1995 Emerald Blue SE with AWESOME wheels and a few other mods (with suspension parts currently being shipped). Another guy I know from www.midwest240sx.com (Toen) was there with his S13 hatchback that he's been working on and he also did excellent at the auto-x. It was a lot of fun. Drifter, I'm not sure if anybody here in OK would sponsor you in Boston. I wish I could help you with that. There was a Neon "tweaked-out" with a girl driver, sponsored by a Chrysler dealership in Tulsa--was pretty surprising. I wish the dealership you worked for would help sponsoring you--that sucks that they're such tight-asses! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> |
