Boston Area Seafood
Ok this is a long shot, but I'm going to be in Boston for the Marathon this coming weekend.
I live in WI and want some super good seafood when I come out there. I'm ok with going to a fancy place if have to. But I'd rather go to a local place that may have better prices. Any suggestions would be great.

What he said, plus a million places in and around quincy market, you'll be paying a tourist premium anywhere like that though.A lot of other restaurants have a seafood menu as well

barking crab has a pretty rowdy rep. worth a visit.
check out chinatown if you're into sushi, there's too many places to note if you're with a girl, i suggest anthony's pier 4. it's close to faneiul hall, a bit closer to the aquarium. there are pictures of like bob hope and lbj and muhamed ali and tons of other people that have been there. it's right on the water, and really fancy, but expect to pay around $100 for the both of you. |

Thanks guys. I've been doing some searching online and I found the Barking Crab place and then menu looks pretty good.
I kinda figured the Union Oyster House would be pricey. We have a Mccormick and Schmicks here so I don't want to go there. I was kinda looking for something mmaybe not right downtown but some hole in the wall local place that tourists wouldn't know about but has good ass food.

Hmm.. Jasper Whites Summer Shack is pretty good. Might be busy though because it is right off Boylston Street about 3/4 mile from where the marathon ends. Lots of bars and what not near there as well.
