I don't currently live in the StL area, but will be there for the first two weeks of November in case any of you would like to get together.

I say we plan a get-together then. Maybe November 8th or 9th (Fri./Sat.). Any ideas on where to meet? A restaurant maybe? Or a park? Dave and Buster's would be cool, but how many of you are under 21?

I'm only 18, so that sucks. 240Gurl, I take it you're from the STL area. I think a park or a public place would be the best meeting spot. November 9th is a Saturday and I think that would be a good time to meet. Anyone have any objections? We'll just have to figure out a place to meet though.

Saturday works. I'll check around for a public place somewhat central to where everyone could find. Most of the parks I know of are either too hard to find (if you are bad with directions) or closed after dark. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.
oh, kind of a bonus on sat. nite, I know where a few drag racing/car people hang outs are.

I just moved to St. Louis!!! I would like to meet some of the local 240 people here too! My SR'd 240 is under the knife right now getting ready for next years race season but my 92 240 with a 97 KA should be alive by then... LOL. I am actually just about to launch a 240 only webpage selling aftermarket parts. Should be launched Nov 1st. I dont know where anything local is though.... LOL
Alan [email protected] www.project240.com <--- new page coming Nov 1!!!

I will do some SR swaps but not part of the buisness I dont think. Just for friends or if someone offers me the right money... LOL No swaps until my 2 cars are done though! I will do tech support for anyone in the area though!

Well, I'm in town now, but the 9th is bad for me. I've got tickets to the Blues game that evening against the Maple Leafs and that takes precedence.
By the way, does anyone know of a shop that could handle an Apexi S-AFC install and a before and after dyno run? thanks,

I can do Forrest Park on Saturday or Sunday, but Sunday would probably work better for me if the spot is Forrest Park. And for those who have Hockey tickets (LUCKY!!!. Can everyone else do Sunday? Anyone need directions, or have major probs with meeting in Forrest park?
As for a shop that can handle the s-afc install with dyno in the st. louis area, good luck. I have had nothing but problems with shops around here. I prefer to drive 3.5 hours to Chicago to have my car worked on.

The Muny Parking lot should be empty on Sunday. Its pretty easy to find, pretty much right off the interstate.

my friend and i are taking his Z to get his AVC-R boost controller installed, this weekend. the shop is http://store.yahoo.net/rhperformance. it is in fairview heights illinois. if they do a good job and are nice, i'll let you all know. good import shops really are hard to find around here. you can't trust them.

I went to RushHour Performance yesterday afternoon and they suggested I try Turbo Connections in Edwardsville. Apparently they have a dyno and have some experience with the S-AFC. I'm going to give them a call today or maybe just drive up there to check out the shop. I'll let you know how everything goes...
In case anyone's interested, even with all the mods I have, I still managed to get over 31 mpg during my road trip! Okay, I spoke with them and here's the rundown. To get the S-AFC installed will cost me $200. To get the car dyno'd and tuned will cost me $145 per hour for at least two hours, probably three (owners estimate). I may just wait until I get to San Antonio...

which longhorn? i happened to see a red s13 by longhorn in o'fallon today.
My friend got his AVC-R boost controller installed at rush hour performance in belleville, IL. the installation went great considering one of the three manuals were missing, a certain piece was missing and they had to get extra vacuum hose. they even stayed late on a saturday night to get it done. good group of guys. and the Z is boosting 14 psi now

Okay, for starters, it is supposed to rain on sunday, so we need to go somewhere with cover. Also, there is a home rams game on sunday so traffic will be a b**ch downtown. I vote we go somewhere like Dave and Buster's (everyone can get it 21 or not, and we can eat/play racing games/pool) or somewhere off Manchester/Olive (TGI's, etc). I mean, do we have to go to a park?

its all up to you all where ya wanna go, but i really cant do it the 9th, unless ya all wanna do it later that night or something. where are all of ya located? where you all want to do it is fine, and if it rains, it will suck...heh so D&B's is sounding like a plan...does anyone go there a lot, if ya do, is there a good place to meet before we go inside? glen
