Help with toe and camber
I hit a curb going 30 mph on the passenger side which messed up the rear lower control arm and maybe the spring bucket also and caused a lot of toe out. I replaced the lower control arm and its still got some toe out which makes the car feel very light in the rear. I also tried adjusting the toe and camber bolts and it helped some but theres still some toe out, even though the toe is set to its max. Is there something else I should be looking at? I checked the subframe and it looks fine, I will be replacing the spring bucket tomorrow to see if that helps too. the spring bucket and the additional arm that is next to the lower control arm is not visibly bent although im going to change them. the car also makes a screetching noise at 45 mph. is there anything else i can do, Any suggestions would be awesome.

Quit hitting curbs.
You can't just replace parts without an alignment, so have it checked professionally to see what else may be damaged.

sorry to hear about that, i hit a curb in my G35 and it did the same thing, it wasnt as bad as yours though, i just bent the lower control arm.
the best advice i could give you is to go to a suspension shop and have them check it out. i did that before i did anything. |
