Here's the official info (copied from drift day's forums):

The format is the best of its kind!

It will be open for all skill levels including beginners to top amateurs.

How is that possible? You ask...

5 increasing levels of competition.

-All drivers will pay $30.00 and participate starting at:

1. Donut competition
2. Figure 8 competition
3. Small 2nd gear course
4. Advance technical 2nd/3rd gear course
5. High speed advance course

If you fail to advance to the next level, the judges will award the driver who performed best in each category. You will not be awarded anything simply because you do not have the funds to advance.

Some drivers may elect to bypass 1-3 if they:
-Pay the optional full price fee of $130.00
-The driver is considered an advance driver. (Pro Am final invitee or D1 licensed driver). No FD licensed drivers are permitted to compete.

-Prizes will be determined shortly.

If I go can I bypass 1-3? I think I'm an advance driver just with low hp.

for vert, i think you may need a roll bar... you can register and paypal [email protected]. just put your first and last name.

It's not $30 for the whole comp. It's $30 per round. Or if you wanted to skip the beginning it's $130.

Kat so if we are advance per your approval and bypass 1-3 we have to pay $130 or $30 per round after? I'm a little confused.

if you bypass the beginning it's $130 total. you wouldnt pay an additional $30 after.
