Just purchased this S14, looking for mod advice - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

Hello all, I recently purchased the following:

It is my daily so I'm doing little things here and there to make my ride more comfortable. I bought a stock S14 driver seat (the dang Recaro is much too narrow for me). I'm getting the A/C worked on. It blows cold but I think the lines are clogged since after a while it stops blowing cold and I also see smoke/fog being blown out the vents. Also need an alignment/tweak the suspension because it seems like it's setup for drift and I've almost spun out getting on the freeway and the rear has come out from underneath me a few times- all when I least expected it. One of the cons to purchasing a car that has been modded to the extent that this one has is I'll have a bit of a learning curve to fully understand what I have left to mod and what is already good to go and I can leave alone.

My purpose to this thread is to just hear what veteran zilvians have to say regarding mods I should consider looking into (be it performance or cosmetic related). Also I'd love to hear any tips regarding proper driving for this sucker. I'm coming from a stock 2014 Subaru WRX and it is night and day when I'm jumping between the two.

At any rate, I'm excited to start up some dialogue and become a contributing member to the zilvia community! Thanks in advance for any comments and/or critique!

Start with simple stuff like fixing the stereo wiring, make a new subwoofer box and get rid of all the silly drift stickers. Maybe get a pair of nismo wheels for the rear so they all match.

Yeah, stickers are gonna be going. Waiting for some anti adhesive crap I ordered to arrive. I'm going to need to replace the Nismo wheels up front since the front right is SEVERELY curbed, not sure what happened there. I'm not the type to throw away thousands on wheels though so we'll see what I come across. Thank you, silviaks2nr, for your sound input!
