JDM Cluster gauges not working

I bought a jdm s13 cluster and installed it along with a new dash over the weekend. When I started the car the needles stayed exactly where they were when I bought it. The speedometer is pinned at 180km/hr and the tachometer is also pinned. Is there a easy way to "reset" it. I really don't feel like pulling it apart again. Thanks for any input
also, the 3 connectors were plugged in so rule that out

Where the needles pinned all the way when installing it. If so rev it up and should work to get it back into the right spot. Well that works for the tach.

Shyt why not? I wasn't saying to peg out the speedo just drive it at Socal Hwy speeds and I think it would come back to life. My Speedo was good to go the tach was pegged. 50/50 shot

For future references whenever someone has this problem, just rev/drive the car and the needles will jump to the other side, thanks guys.

What if the guages are not working at all? pinned at 0 for both tach and speedo, and the gas and temp guages dont work. Not on my car, but my little bro's S13. Its an 89 240sx with an SR20. The original digital cluster went out so we swapped in a JDM S13 cluster but it wont work.
