Guess I have a small "update"...


Went to FD Atlanta, made all new stickers with Bigs for once the car is painted... (The MG ones are for our Grandfather.. not me haha). If you need stickers made, hit him up: D-MAGIC


Came back, knocked out the bodywork last week, and primed the car yesterday:



Still have to prime the front bumper, and I am waiting on new sideskirts to come in.

Need to sand it down with 320, then 600, then paint it... Along with a shit ton of other stuff to do before June 8

Wow, havent updated this in awhile... Lots has happened since the last update..

I finished bodywork and painted the car...

Can see some spots I rushed and missed, but honestly I dont care... Its not a trailer queen, as seen later in this update.

Painted thursday, took it home friday and got everything put on for the most part...


Still need wheels but my wallet says no...

I was pretty pissed because I ordered sideskirts and was sent the wrong ones, a week before the event I was trying to make. I ended up having to "destroy" them and the company sent me the right ones. Unfortunetly I couldnt get them painted in time, so they were shot flat black quickly and I could not rep my sponsors where I had wanted for that event.

So, going out for my last run of the day the little SR that could decided it couldnt any longer... Got home, tore into it, and found this:



Oh, and finally got the skirts painted and stickered.. Hit up Bigs (D-Magic.us) for any vinyl work you need done!



Soo.... Looking towards my future, I am going to be rebuilding the SR, and going LSX... Sorry to my purist friends, but you cannot bash the reliability and capability of the LSX motors for the cost.

Been awhile since ive updated. Ive been super busy lately working on friends and customers cars and its been so hot that I havent been super motivated to work on my own car. Plus ive been working on parting out my SR setup to fund my new motor.

Speaking of motors, in the prev post I said I was going to go V8. Well, I ended up on Fueled Racing's pro am program... (Todd and everyone at Fueled are super great people if any of you are considering the swap then definetly hit them up!)... Well, a few weeks later I was doing more and more research and decided I really was a purist at heart as much as I tried to deny it and made the decision to go 1j ... Im super stoked for the swap.

Anyways on to pictures...

Picked up some Work Emotion XD9's for the daily a few months back... Already bored of them if someone has some 57d's to trade...


For the track car I decided to go tube front... Slow progress, still very far off from it being done but itll be nice when its finished.

Oh wait, first I tucked the brake lines behind the fire wall:


Then cut the front end off:



Plated and tac'd downtubes in place:


Boxed frame rails and did some stitch welding:


Did more stitch welding:


Radiator support tac'd in. Still need to do all the bracing for it and brackets for fenders, headlights, etc...


if you're wondering why I only have tacked everything in- its because im using my shitty welder at my grandparents (where I keep the car) right now, and will be bringing it out to my dads shop once everythings tac'd to fully weld with nice stuff.

Thanks guys. Yeah its inch and a half. I wanted 1 inch for the radiator support, but the guy I got it though only had inch and a half.

Alright so, been pretty busy lately...
Built tubs on Mitch's car:

Also am painting Andrews car for him.

On my car, finished up the tube front pretty much. Just gotta final weld everything in and paint it:



Front bumper comes off in about 15 seconds using 4 1/4 turn Dzus buttons. Im super happy with how the front end came out, cant wait to get it painted and finished.
Also threw the battles on one side of the car, looks so much better. Cant wait to pick up some more so I can have a full set haha.

And last, I bought a Speedway 12 circuit race harness to use for the chassis harness. Have been tinkering with that while the bays waiting to be finished, chopping what I dont need off and drawing wiring diagrams.

Thinking about painting the bay Pagan Gold Candy to compliment the copper pearl in the red paint.

Yes. Everything on my car/customer cars are done in house. (except I had a friend bend the tubing for me since I dont own a tube bender). Working towards starting a custom fabrication/paint buisness slowly.

Alright, so been pretty busy lately. Might finally have time to work on my own car now.

Painted my friends missile car last week, came out pretty nice for $80 single stage paint.







And now back to my car.... Went and picked this up saturday:



Actually bought the whole car, 1jz with soarer r154, chasebays harness wired for 2j ecu, all sorts of new parts, etc. Pulling the motor and selling the shell.
