APexi auto timer a/f function.

Whats up guys.

i installed my apexi auto timer a couple days ago but the a/f functions always read 20.0. i know its incorrect cause im running rich and i could smell the fuel coming out my exhaust. i hooked up the o2 sensor wires and the ground to the ecu correctly but i dont know whats wrong.

any body have experience with this??

If you are hooking it up to the stock o2 then you are wasting your time. They are very inaccurate for anything other than 14.7

yeah i know they arent too accurate but im not boosting extra psi or anything.

you think i could hook it up to another o2 sensor through my test pipe?

or would it have to go from the ecu?

Any O2 should work as long as you hook it up right. Should be able to use the existing one. You sure you tapped into the signal wire

yeah im pretty sure i did.

the manual said it was the 5th wire from the center bolt of the ecu.

it was next to another white wire. Maybe i should take the voltmeter out.

did you have experience with hooking this thing up?
maybe someone else had better luck.

No I haven't hooked one up I have a wideband. I say search for the ecu output diagram for your car they are posted here somewhere and compare. Is this an SR? I looked at the diagram and the 5th connection on the top is right for o2. Under it is the knock sensor. You don't think you got it on the wrong one do you?
