i went with a tubular no name brand for mine and im happy with it, for the most part, but someone whos opinion i regard highly (cody ace) says that the stock cast manifold is your best bet.

i would go with one that you used the search function to do research on instead of making another redundant thread about.....

fuck..... why do people like this need to be local to me?
i have all this anger inside, like i hate all 240 owners. weird, it didnt used to be like this. yesterday i saw a dropped s13 driving down the street and i just cringed thinking to myself "i hate you" and i dont even know the guy... couldve been a nice guy. too bad i hate his fucking guts. i think you should leave your exhaust manifold alone. install an illest sticker or something |

Cheap aftermarket tubular manifolds crack, and warp due to the substandard piping / techniques / poor welds. That's why if you're not going top mount, people recommend just staying with the cast iron OEM one. CodyAce has been talked about a lot in this thread because he's a big advocate of keeping the stock manifold and doing some modifications to help it increase its efficiency and also keep EGT down. Good luck with your purchase, i hope you find what you're looking for. |
