Am I retarded? Rb25 into s13 nightmares

So quick back story. I had this set up in an s14. Now im putting it into an s13

rb25

r33 mounts

r33 subframe

25 transmission.

sooooo

i dropped the motor in and the trans crossmember sits to far back(The member is about 2 inches further back than the holes in the chassis) . it will not line up with the holes in the chassis.

I have tried a manual ka and an auto ka

i bought the auto ka one of a guy here who swore to me it was the crossmember i needed.

can any one shed some light on this?

i can supply pictures if this is too confusing. But the motor sits in the bay the way it should. I just dont get it.

What do i need. Or should i just build a trans member and forget about it.(thats very doable) I just want to make sure something isnt wrong.

This is my retardation. You can even see the A stamp in the picture. I was told the auto guy would work. but i knew it wouldn't by the pictures the guy sent me. but he assured me it was the right one.

oh well. what do i need? or just build one and move on?

You need adapter blocks. Syko makes them. I'm not sure how you had it in your S14 with out them...

Another thing that works too is an auto R33 transmission mount bracket. Thats what a couple of guys I know, used in Japan.
