Trader rating is used for buying and selling. It is a rep..that is actually useful.

It is replacing the old rep system that we had, which is gone. Im sure there will be some sort of announcement on that. Basically, you buy something or sell somthing to someone you can leave them a feed back and grow (or shrink) their trader rating

The old system was being abused in many ways. A lot of people were becoming premies to see their rep and that was the only reason. So that was removed. A lot of people were not repping for good reason but just for fun and to cause trouble. It was pretty much decided by the mods it was a broken system that needed to be removed. Though I thought it should stay in the end I saw certain things happen that led me to believe and feel they have made the correct decision.

The reason Zilvia was fun was because not only was it a place where you could buy and sell crap, but it was also like a social community. Which a lot of car forums fail at.

This is just one step towards making it the same as those fail wagons. Oh well, it's all said and done.

K im lost, how did the rep system on zilvia made this place a more social community? The rep system had nothing to do with how this place work. Atleast not intended to be. Some people took the rep system like its the word of God. Oh Nooooes i got neg repped, imma get banned!!!

I mean what exactly changed other than instead of having a rep system thats abused, we have a rep system that hopefully people will use to their advantage. Somebody sells something and you get jipped, give them a bad rating and hopefully steer people away from that ass wipe...would help zilvia be a better community in the end. Keeps the low life from trying to scam alot of folks...

i dont care that the old rep system is gone, im just concerned that my fonts look like shit now!!!

heres what it looked like before, and what it looks like in firefox on winxp:

this all happened after the new rep system got put in, because earlier today it was just fine.

i havent done anything that would affect my fonts or firefox settings. it was cool one minute, shitty the next. i hope im not the only one affected. i dont want to have to turn on my winxp box just to look at zilvia, because the way it looks right now is fucking unbearable and unacceptable :(
