very harsh idel wiht 840cc injectors

so i got my s14 with rb25det series one with:
aem ems
840cc
gt35
44mm waste gate
it made 501 whrp at 19 pounds.

now my issue is that regardless of cold/warm start i cant get it to idle unless i have to hold the gas peddle down for about a min then it will idle amazingly at 1100rpm thats pretty damn good for 840cc injectors.
any tips of what i should be checking out to see why its doing this?

also does anyone know why the aem if u go lock to lock with the steering wheel the car stalls out is it becuase the ps pump goes on and off?

thanks for hte help in advance.

The better question is what brand injectors are they? Some injectors idle better than some. I got some Sard 850s on my SR w/ PFC and they idle like i got stock 370s in there...

This is another issue I have with the AEM unit.

Haltech totally trumps the AEM in every respect when it comes to simplifying the break down of injector set ups. You can actually control the actual injector voltage, wheer the AEM just has pre-set injector settings which may not be a perfect fit in reality.

Sounds like an issue with wiring or possibly some sort of flaw in your AEM unit or the setup of your Idle configurations in the idle maps (again over complicatingf it)>

Your tuner doesn't know what he's talking about. Did you change the injector lag settings for the larger injectors? Deatchwerks has a spreadsheet for their injector latencies, and it lists what you should set them for in your EMS.

I don't see 840cc's listed. Are they purple side feeds? Did you have upgraded injectors before these?
