im registered for XDC round 4!
gonna run power steering this time around! didnt have it on the s12, past 2 days such a hassle to get this all together ugh, luckily i kept my old tensioner pulley for this napa belt part number 25 060730 73.5 inches 35$ bought a used pump from a friend, it was missing the pulley and the return line flange so i found those @ the junkyard and pieced it together also put together a bracket to bypass the A/C compressor, hopefully this 5$ setup works! seems nice and stiff, we will see.. shouldnt be a problem.. though this thing is probally only made for holding stuff up on a clothes line! l ill brake clean it all down when im done, i have a earls high pressure line with a AN fitting on the rack, went out to a shop and orderd a fitting that will connect the aftermarket line to my toyota power steering pump, so as of tomorrow ill have full power steering! so happy.. |

hyperfest coverage
too bad i didnt qualify, turns out the BOV was leaking a tremendous amount of boost and i couldnt figure it out until sunday. id hit about 7psi and then id just start losing all my boost/have no top end got there thursday friday morning getting ready for practice some photos from friday practice/qualifying, it felt like it had around 200 hp at this point :/ no power no smoke! FAIL! ended up qualifying 22nd place! at least i didnt get a zero blocked off that bitch (the BOV) @ drift nirvana around 1pm sunday through the day after checking for numerous boost leaks etc. and BAM like 70 HP and top end outta no where! shit hauls ass and spins through 3rd on 245's! sad i didnt make top 16, but so glad i figured the car out! first time driving it.. now at least this winter i can really put some more effort in and prepare for a sick ass 2013 season. most deff will be doing some more testing as this season rolls through though. awaiting some more media and hopefullyl of a video of when i got it running better! |

time for a update
was doing this hit a wall bent this broke this bent these banged this out ziptied/riveted it back together for now got this in the mail today changed my traction arm still had some fucked up toe in, further diagnosing leads to a bent subframe went and pulled it like a boss see the raised part in the center of the pic? its supposed to be flat.. going to pick up one in a few hours, and selling my battle version slip ons/getting sikky aluminum inserts for the new subframe got a real toolbox! working at a different Toyota now.. lovin it My sr'ed DD has full adjustable suspension now and a 4 wheel alignment and is running great s14 staged |

The subframe was actually a pain in the ass to get in.. I'm guessing a stud bent a bit. Also had to cut off and air hammer the old bushings from the front studs due to being
Seized. Spent awhile just trying to bang/air hammer it up onto the studs so I could thread the nuts on... I still have crazy toe in!! Turns out the LCA on the RR is bent.. But my subframe was possibly bent in a previous wreck or from this one too. Either way I unseized and relubed everything.. And also having solid bushings is better then that slip on crap/spacers.. Those actually got messed up from hitting the wall anyways... WTB S14 RR LCA!!! All my arms are battle version with stance coils, MA knuckles, Sikky extended swaybar, If anyone was wondering |
