recent quality and fitment from vis / seibon
Hey everyone sorry if Im in the wrong section. I don't really post much on the forums. Im looking for people with recent purchases of VIS or Seibon hoods to comment on the quality and fitment coming from the factories. i did a forum search and the last reviews I've seen were from 2015. Im in the market for a new hood in OEM trim but Im hesitant to purchase one from either company. From what I have gathered its a crap shoot as far as fitment with either company. My only other option is spend twice as much for a Chargespeed hood but im not familiar with fitment / quality from them. Id like to get some opinions first before I do anything. Thanks for the help everyone

I've always had good fitment with Seibon products. The OE style hood i bought for my S13 was almost perfect. The trunk I had on my Kouki was perfect. On the other hand, the VIS trunk for my coupe sucked in just about every way possible and when I went to buy a hood for my Kouki, the Seibon I had a minor fitment issue that was remedied by installing the hood pins(which you should use anyways)

I don't. Haven't had a hood come through in a while, however we are an authorized dealer and located in Bloomfield, CT. So if you wanna order one, drop me a message.
