Jeff already knows I have car a.d.d... I did however get some snaps of how I had to modify the headlights for my mid mount setup. I should've asked some other people if they had to do the same thing before I mounted it all up. But whats done is done. It's a "race" part and cutting shit comes with the territory. Frizzle said his fit without a problem, no trimming necessary so I am wondering if I should've put the tabs behind the rad support sides and had it sitting flush against the radiator. All of the pictures I've seen of it installed show the tabs on the front side of things.

Also I got to drive the car 20 minutes un-interrupted before the power started to cut out again (the whole reason I was working on it again in the first place. Seems all of my charging wire is in order and not damaged (thank goodness) but I cannot say the same for the white/blue ign/power line. Which is odd because I have the whole chassis harness from my fusebox tuck tied down and electric taped like no tomorrow so I'm VERY curious to find out where it rubbed through and caused my whole dash fuse panel to ground out.

I've wanted the mid mount for a while now, v8 is next on the menu. But I'd rather just get rid of the intercooler setup I had so I can more easily work on a bash bar setup for my car so I can start plotting where I'm running my a/c lines and mounting my condenser. Plus the front mount was being held up by zip ties, the weight of the intercooler broke the hood latch support in half. Now I don't have to worry about it anymore.

The thing I like most about the mid mount is the front of the chassis feels a lot more stiff now, I can stand on the radiator support and it wont bend in half so it's almost like a tie bar.

So we're here!

Small update, all in the video goes away as soon as i close the power chain to the battery. And ground the battery so I have no fucking idea whats causing the cars power to randomly cut out. Will move forward with having a chassis harness made after paint is comepleted.

its like youre doing all this work:
- taking video of your car, your balls, etc
- lots of talking... sounds like you know about cars and what youre doing
- editing the video
- uploading the video
- removing parts from your car, reinstalling them.....

i mean, all this effort for what? you could skip the video, skip the editing, skip the youtube, talking, fame... etc.. and you'de probably already have a v8 installed by now

I couldn't possibly take advice from someone who has taken more than 2 weeks to finish a miata... honestly it's like a forklift with a 4 cylinder.
