stupid s13 rear defroster wont defrost

my rear defroster on my 91 s13 fastback only works sometimes and that sometime is very rare .
i never tried messing with it before so i know for sure i didnt mess it up. i checked out the fuse and it wasnt burnt out.

what can be wrong?

it sucks especially now since it rains like a muthafucker in so-cal.

help anyone?

The defogger timer is part of the TCU. Check for damage or burnt traces on the board.

Check the connections on the glass. Sometimes these break off or are on their way to breaking off.

ok so the rain finally stop today and i checked out the TCU, fuses and it wasnt burnt.

its kinda hard for me to tell if the connections on the window is burnt because it looks kinda odd. Although the solder on the main connections, connecting to the harness does have a little of rust on it. i did clean it with alcohol but im sure that wont help.
