ZEROLIFT RB Engine Swap Mount Kit for 240sx !
Zerolift RB Engine Mount Kit !!! The ZEROLIFT Mount Kit is meant to utilize your 240SX Chassis Subframe as well as Motor Mounts unlike other kits that require you to use a specific isolator style mount. This will allow you to expand into solid aftermarket mounts for racing purposes or if you prefer to keep the softer feel you may reuse the stock 240sx motor mounts. The mounts are made of 3/16” Steel that has been Laser Cut, Brake Bent, and Tig Welded. The Mounts are Lifetime Warranted against manufacturing flaws I.E. Welds Breaking, Bends Warping BUT are NOT Warranted against Rust or Corrosion caused by wear and tear or the weather. We have had numerous customers use these in high horsepower applications without any issues. The Installation of the mount kit not too bad, they consist of 2x Subframe Brackets 2x Engine Brackets 1x Transmission Bracket. The Mounts are finished in a Satin Black Powder Coat. Pictures of the product and installation are below : This mount kit is compatible with RB20, RB25, and RB26. I have yet to have any customers try them with a RB30 The cost of the RB Mount Kit is $250 + $10 Shipping anywhere in the continental USA. I can also ship International, please contact me for a shipping quote. Please feel free to PM or email me with any questions [email protected] or call me at 513-874-2508 Thank you, Robert

These position the motor a bit farther back.
The firewall will need to have a small spot hammered for Starter Clearance. And in some cases, a RB25 Transmission will touch the top of the transmission tunnel. Here is a basic diagram of where the Starter / Bell Housing may touch. The Oil Pan sits roughly level with the Subframe. A few customers have stated they had oil pan clearance with other mounts, but did not have any issues with these. The Hood has plenty of clearance, even if you are using Nismo Mounts which are slightly taller than stock. We also Offer Driveshafts for the conversion - PM Me for Details ! Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Robert

lets see some clearance for the steering shaft. my buddy has zerolift mounts and the turbo elbow drags on the steering shaft and totally stops the steering under hard turning. mckinney mounts offer much more adjustibility to have the motor sit in the chassis in a much more optimal position.

The majority of the steering shaft clearance issues can be explained by what rubber mounts are being used.
Say that you are using an OEM Mount that came from your original KA or SR, chances are that it has settled / collapsed a little and positions the motor down farther than it should be. First thing I would look for is if the mount looks like it is literally leaking oil / grease, as they are filled and may have ruptured. The majority of my customers have installed these using either Nismo or Megan Solid Rubber Mounts. They are roughly 1/4" taller than a stock Nissan mount. The reason we developed these to work with an OE Style & Dimension mount is that we have seen way to many failures in the "Isolator" Style mounts

Thanks for bringing that up actually.
The Zerolift kit is not a copy of anyones' mounts. Almost two years ago we absorbed Ruckus Racing who originally was building the RB Mounts. We have changed a bit of everything regarding the mounts. The manufacturing process, geometry, finishing procedures, etc. And our theory is that a bit of massaging on the firewall is worth the safety of the oil pan. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I currently have 24 Sets in stock.
Any orders will be shipped immediately. At the time you placed your order the mounts were on back order. I do apologize for any delays on my end, however the product was out of my hands. I am switching my powder coater for these parts, sadly I got the run around from them as to when the 30 sets I had made would be finished. In the event of a back order situation, buyers will be notified prior to taking any payment information. Please let me know if there are any other questions. Thanks, Robert
