It is 3M undercoat paint. you can buy it from O'reilys. Autozone has some too. its only like 10 bucks a can and it takes about a can per wheel well

Im Back! Sorry it took so long to add updates. ran into financial problems but the project continues!!

So it was time to put the trany and motor together and slap that b*tch in. i just bought a stock exedy clutch and light flywheel. The KA's factory 160 hp (or whatever it is) couldnt even slip a bar of soap, so i wasnt really worried about buying a beefy clutch

I didnt have the tool for the dumb ass automatic pilot bearing so i drilled both sides with a small drill bit until i had two C's and it slid right out

Time to go in. My Bro Bros Davis and TrevBro came over last minute and helped me slide this beezy in

Damn polished valve cover started eroding so i had to paint it. oh well

Finally all in and complete. everything is new. every gasket and seal replaced. Manual swapped. new clutch and light flywheel. Intake and exhaust manifolds ported and polished. Full tune up: New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, all fluids, all new hoses, new sensors, etc. new brake master and clutch master. steel braided clutch line and new slave. basically everythings new or freshened up. Ok so i had some funky problems when i first fired up the motor. it would run good for a minute then it would start dumpin smoke out the exhaust and dripping oil from the exhaust manifold and start runnin like dog shit. obviously it was burning oil or gettin oil in the exhaust some how. i was scratchin my head trippin out for an entire night i couldnt understand how that much oil was getting in the exhause. I checked my compression and it was a perfect 190 psi in all four cylinders. i tried plugging off my PCV and changed nothing. Then i remembered that my exhaust was sitting outside for months in the rain and a bunch of leaves blowing around it and its the oem exhaust. So i thought maybe my exhaust is plugged and creating a bunch of back pressure causing an abundance of blow by in the cylinder and forcing oil up out of the crankcase and into the cylinder. sounded farfetched but i had tried everything else already and still scratching my head so i said Fudge it and pulled my exhaust and fired it up. It ran perfect! super loud with no exhaust obviously but it idled smooth and didnt blow any smoke. so im going to need to make an exhaust now. but my motor runs good. now time to get the inior back in and take it for a spin.

New capet yo. lol trying to straighten it out

Heres my little nice Journey helping me out. Chillin in my knock off Brides
