Angry No electical power in 90 240sx

so after figuring out that the problem with my car loosing all power at 4000 RPM, (it was the maf not making a great connection to the plug) i drove it home to Delaware (Parents House) for the winter. and after fixing an alternator issue in Mass, I eventually made it.

well i proceeded to prepare for a 5 lug swap, did an oil change and and among other things, did a battery relocation to the trunk.

well i ran all the wires, hooked up the ground and power ad attempted to turn on the car. Nothing happened. After checking all the grounds and flow with a multi checker, i was getting 12 volts at the original battery location from the trunk and had all the connections right. still wouldnt start. So I began fiddling with the power, disconnecting it then re-checking the power. I eventually remembered that the EGI relay like to play games so I began disconnecting that from the relay box in the engine bay, and I got the lights on the dash to come on but no secondary or primary power when the key was turned. well i plugged the EGI back in and the car stated first try. HUGE MYSTERY.

i then drove it around and then shut it off, restarted it a few times, and I thought all was good. Well i leave the car in DE and take a train back to VT for the rest of the month.

well my Dad desired to try and drive it to work, and he gets about through the housing gate, and the car dies and now wont restart. Loss of power no lights even on the dash, so i tell him to mess with the EGI again, and he gets the red lights to come one just like last time, but still no power and wont start. Same as last time.

So the car is currently sitting in a parking lot, not a big issue, but its just pissing me off, and I cant look at it my self.

Need some help and what it might be. Should I keep looking into the EGI or is it more of a grounding issue or what. im getting the proper voltage to the relay box, and ground seems fine. Im just out of ideas, and would like the help.
