Kognition teams dominate GTA track/class records at NJMP!

Global Time Attack made it's east coast debut last weekend in New Jersey at NJMP for what turned out to be a stellar event with some great competition and the chance to meet some great people! Kognition is no stranger to time attack. In fact, that is where we began to develop our track wings. So here are the results for Kognition sponsored cars:
GST Motorsports Subaru GC8 / Driver: Jeff Westphal / 1st Unlmtd AWD /1:02.460 (new track record for closed wheel car)!

Dentsport Garage S13 Maxi / Driver: Bill Washburn / 1st Unlmtd RWD
/1:08.448 (new time attack class track record)

Professional Awesome Evo 8 / Driver: Dan O'Donnell / 1st Street AWD
/1:11.611 (new time attack class track record)

I've never seen that 240 before, the rear splitter is intense looking.

Good job on the track!

These 3 cars were FLYING all weekend. The Subaru running a 1:02 is rediculous!

Yup was there Saturday and Sunday for HPDE, and the Time Attack group had 'rented' a spot in the daily procession of things. The Subaru was downright rediculous, wish I could have seen more of it in action in the twisties, but Lightning is (for the most part) a HP track. 800whp? Yea that'll make it move.

The DentSport car was really a neat pice though. To turn a 1:08 is rediculously fast, considering the NASA race winner ran the similar time in a S/U prepped C6 Corvette 'chassis'...which unbdoubtedly made gobs more power and torque...goes to show the MaxiRS car is proof in the setup more than the HP
